Not for Profit Conference
September 13-14
We are very excited to announce this
year’s Not for Profit Summer Wrap
Up, taking place September 13-14 at Fiver
in Pooleville, NY. Each year we bring
this special community of camps together
to share experiences, successes, and
best practices. We are especially excited
because this year’s event was planned
with volunteers and staff from the ACA,
NY, ACA, UNY and ACA, NJ Sections.
The
goal of the Wrap Up is to discuss the
topics that you feel yourself wrestling
with the most at the end of the summer.
You may have some ideas as to what those
will be, but given how life works at
least a few things will probably emerge
this summer as dominant issues that would
be great to discuss with similarly situated
camp professionals at the end of the
summer. The Wrap Up will give you that
opportunity. No discussion topics have
been chosen so far. On the first night
we will meet each other and determine
the breakout topics to be discussed the
following day. The next day groups large
and small will discuss the topics you
select. We will also all get a tour of
Camp Fiver and hear about their program.
We hope you will join us for this learning
and not for profit community building
event. |
