The ACA New York Section developed the
Staff Placement Service to make the hiring
process as easy as possible for accredited
camps. It works to increase interest in
prospective staff by raising awareness of
the professional and personal benefits of
working at a summer camp.
Each job candidate completes an online
form to create a pool of thousands of applicants
for accredited camps to search through.
All applicants must be U.S. citizens or
have their green card. They must also be
at least 17 years old (or entering your
senior year of high school) to apply for
a day camp position and 18 years old for
